We+KevinRoot Medical
A brand for Root Orthotics, and an ordering app that lets clinicians build custom orthotics step by step.

The situation
KevinRoot Medical is one of the leading custom orthotics providers in the United States. Clinicians send a patient's foot data, specify how each device should be built, and KevinRoot makes it.
Two things needed design. A new line, Root Orthotics, had to stand on its own while clearly belonging to KevinRoot. And the ordering experience had to make dozens of clinical choices per pair feel clear instead of overwhelming.
A distinct line under a trusted name
We built the Root Orthotics identity from the ground up: logo, color palette and visual elements that read as professional, reliable and innovative.
An endorsed lockup, "by KevinRoot Medical", ties it back to the parent brand. The palette of Rich Navy, Steel Blue and Grey Slate, with Montserrat for headlines and Open Sans for text, keeps the family resemblance without copying it.

Dozens of clinical choices, one clear flow
We designed the FootID ordering web app end to end, for desktop and mobile: sign-up, choosing a standard build, a pre-build or a pathology-based starting point, then fine-tuning every modification.
Each option shows its effect on a 3D foot model from several angles, with the clinical indication alongside, so clinicians see what they're ordering before they send it.

Pick a starting point
A standard build, a saved pre-build, or a pathology like Achilles tendinitis.

Shape the shell
Heel cup depth, material and rigidity, previewed in 3D.

Correct alignment
Rearfoot and forefoot posts, with the clinical reason shown.

Extensions and pads
Every add-on tracked in a running order panel.

Order summary
One page to check the device and patient details before sending.
The result
Root Orthotics launched as its own brand, recognizably part of the KevinRoot family, giving customers who want tailored orthotics a clear, dedicated line.
The ordering app turns a long clinical specification into a guided, visual flow that works as well on a phone as it does at a desk.
